Justice Michael Brett activated a six-month suspended sentence and added a further 10 months for Nicholas' latest crime.

The homeowner was in hospital from September 2018 to January 2019.
Justice Brett said an explanation that the man's carer had sold the items to Nicholas was rejected by the jury.
"The carer did not give evidence in the trial and the evidence suggests she deliberately avoided doing so," he said.
He said Nicholas stole goods worth $10-$20,000 including sound equipment, a television, jewellery, a blender, aCCTV system and matchbox cars.
"None of the stolen property has been recovered," he said.
Items stolen from an outdoor shed included a ride-on lawnmower but Justice Brett said it could not be found beyond reasonable doubt that Nicholas was responsible.
Justice Brett said that Nicholas' blood had been found on a wall near where a television hung and a palm print was found in the kitchen where he broke in through a window.
It was obvious that he had searched and stolen items from the house.
He said Nicholas had invaded an old person's home in a premeditated course of criminal conduct.
Justice Brett said the crime occurred less than six months after imposition of a six month suspended sentence for trafficking methylamphetamine (ice).
He said Nicholas had failed to take advantage of the leniency of the suspended sentence.
A non parole period of eight months was set for the man with a good employment record but a criminal record which stretched back to 2004.
