A Launceston woman alleged to have fraudulently purchased a marriage certificate among $27,000 of purchases did not plead when she faced charges in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Allison Mae Leslie, 36, has been charged with more than 700 counts of introduce into a computer false information as data at Optimo Awnings in Longford between January 2016 and March 2020.
Court documents reveal Ms Leslie has also been charged with a total of 93 counts of use a computer with intent to defraud to a sum of more than $27,000.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Police allege she used a computer with intent to defraud to purchase items uncluding utility bills, airfares, accommodation, a marriage certificate, Lego, clothing, car registration, an Apple iPad and museum tickets.
She was bailed by Magistrate Simon Brown to reappear on May 27 at 9.45am.
