Not only did Tania Thompson win the overall singles prize but her fantastic stableford score of 44 points helped Moorina claim the coveted teams trophy.
Teammates Diane Rattray and Tracey Taylor chimed in with 34 and 31 points respectively to pip Bridport by a solitary point, 109 to 108. Bridport's top three were Lindy Lockhart (39 points), Linda Noonan (35) and Ros Leitch (34). Lockhart was runner-up overall.
A superbly calm and bright Monday morning greeted the 100 competitors who entered the foursomes event.
A-grade winners were Dianne Chellew and Deborah Williams, of St Helens, on 37 points, from June Stubbs and Maureen Jones (Penguin) on 33 and Carol Van Der Velde and Carole Gunson (Bicheno).
B-grade winners were Jenny Hatton and Helen Daly (Exeter) from Kahla Summers and Sam Cotton, representing Wynyard, and George Town's Pat Wilkinson and Vicki Towns.
C-grade winners were from Thirlstane with Dixie Williamson and Fran Hamilton scoring 35 points. Runners-up were Helen Flanagan and Kerri Davis (George Town) with 31 points on countback from Jenny Millwood and Jeanette Lethborg (Bridport).
Nearest the pins were won by Williams on 4 and 10 with Van Der Velde winning 8 and Viv Hancock 14.
On a superb Tuesday, Exeter's Wendy Cuthbertson won A-grade with 37 points ahead of Cotton (36) and Rattray (34).
B-grade saw Dianne Chellew win on countback from Susan Hayes, of Longford, both on 36, with Taylor third on countback.
Linda Noonan took out the C-grade prize with 35 points from Ros Leitch and Helen Streets on 34.
Nearest the pins were won by Annette Bryan, of George Town, Wendy Hancock and Cotton (Wynyard) and Cuthbertson.
An excellent field of 88 players took part in the singles event. With only four players in the field, Moorina did an excellent job to take out the teams trophy.
In women's pennant, Prospect remain undefeated in division one, while Riverside are similarly undefeated in divisions two and three.
Men's pennant got underway on Sunday and in division one Riverside had a big win over Mowbray and Launceston scrambled to a close victory over Prospect Vale.
Division two saw a big home win to Deloraine and Launceston A team eked out a four and three victory over Launceston B.
Division four saw Launceston and Riverside have comprehensive victories and likewise in division five with Launceston having a thumping win and Prospect Vale also impressive at home.
Division six was much closer with Greens Beach winning at home by the narrowest margin and Mowbray at home to Quamby scraping in by four/three. Division 7 saw Tam O Shanter at their home course upset by Scottsdale four games to three.
