On March 27, Rotary Tasmania will host guest speakers such as 2020 Australian of the Year Grace Tame, survivor of a 15-month hostage situation in Somalia Nigel Brennan, voice-over artist Robyn Moore, and Dr Kay Danes to talk about resilience.
Rotary Tasmania conference chair Sandy Astill said typically Rotary conferences were only open to people within the organisation and their families.

However, this year the program was designed for the wider community to get involved and also celebrate the centenary.
"COVID-19 has now resulted in more people than ever need support emotionally, physically, financially and socially. This is why we felt it was important to invite members of the public to join us," she said.
"Our conference theme is 100 Years Strong because we believe resilience is the key to not only survive, but thrive in our new world.
"We have chosen speakers with the most amazing stories of resilience."
Some of the speakers will be attending via Zoom due to border closures.
"We are really excited that it has come together with world class speakers," Ms Astill said.
The event will run over four sessions and tickets, which are $25, can be purchased online from rotarytasmaniaconference.org.
