Two seasons after Launceston City pulled out of the Women's Super League, neighbours Launceston United make the step up, hoping to build on the form which earned an undefeated victorious campaign in last season's Northern Championship.
Former Riverside Olympic coaches Lynden Prince and Frank Compton have been entrusted with steering the ship through statewide waters and have spread the net far and wide in the search for assistance.
Recruits from Belgium, England and the US add an international flavour while, closer to home, Madi Gilpin and Jess McCallumSmith have made a shorter journey by following Prince, Compton and Nichola James from Windsor Park.
Compton said retaining the services of Jess Robinson felt like a new signing as last season's top scorer had been planning to go travelling.
The Englishwoman banged in 12 goals last season as Cam Heazlewood's invincibles won 12 and drew two from their 14 fixtures.
Clarence Zebras, who finished runners-up to Olympia last season, will be the visitors on Saturday.
