Elissa Shaw, of Elizabeth Town, said the day was a little bit wet, but worth it.
"Everyone is just so desperate to enjoy the day," she said.
This year the line-up included beloved headliners such as Chris Cheney, Vika & Linda Bull, Diesel Re Injected, Jon Stevens, Hoodoo Gurus and the legendary Jimmy Barnes.
There was no doubt that even though the line-up was well filled, Barnes was the most highly anticipated act of the day.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Katrina Hatfield, of Ambleside, said she loved Barnes.
"He is the best. We can't wait [to see him]," she said.
Ms Hatfield said it had been such a good day she had overlooked the rain, and had even forgotten about it.
"It's been fantastic, we have caught up with some excellent people and friends. We've had some lovely live-music, and it's been awesome, we have loved it."
Her friend Tracy Boyd, of Devonport, agreed.
"I think it's just fun to be actually socialising, and be out with people and enjoying a public event," she said.
"We hadn't been out for so long."

Mount Direction resident Janice Bennett said the day had been better than expected with all the restrictions.
"It's been easier than we thought it would be," she said.
Ms Bennett said she and her friend, Kirsten McEvoy of Hadspen, attended the event every year.
"It's no different to any other year for us really," Ms McEvoy said.
However, though she was excited to see Barnes, Ms McEvoy said she would have loved seeing Farnham there.
Promoter Duane McDonald said the event was great, despite needing to adhere to COVID-19 restrictions.
"It's fantastic," he said.
Mr McDonald said organisers were policing vertical drinking strongly on the day.
"We have to respect the Public Health orders, he said.
"Directions are changing all the time but in the end you are dealing with the health department and government, and like it or not they have done a fantastic job down here.
"We are just grateful the government has let us do the show."
