Starting in late October, the trial restricted right-turns from Goderich Street into Lindsay Street, and to and from the Esplanade.
Small concrete slabs were used to block off the right-hand-turn lanes and extra signage was put in place.
The trial was intended to improve traffic flow through the area by reducing the number of traffic light sequences at the busy Lindsay-Goderich intersections in front of Bunnings.
It was meant to end in January, but is ongoing.

A State Growth spokesperson said the final outcome of assessments should be made public "in the next few weeks".
"A survey of road users was conducted at the end of the trial and feedback was positive," the spokesperson said.
"The department is continuing to review traffic data, along with the survey feedback and the overarching Invermay Traffic Masterplan to determine if the right turns will be removed permanently.
"The temporary road barriers and signage used during the trial will remain in place while we complete this assessment."
