Club members teamed up with Sic Surface's Marshall Thomas last month to apply a weatherproof coating to the St Leonards track, making racing a year-round prospect.
The upgrade will also significantly reduce the workload needed to prepare the surface for training and race meets.
Media manager David Steward said the upgrade had been fully-funded by the club, which runs a canteen at training nights and racedays.
"There's no need for a great deal of track preparation with club meetings and state meetings - it's a significant investment that makes life easier for the club," Steward said.
"This is a feather in the cap of the president [Matt Manshanden] and the committee to get this happening."

The surface upgrade had been planned for 2020, when the club was set to host the national BMX titles, but coronavirus ensured the former was postponed and the latter cancelled.
Western Australia will host this year's nationals, with Launceston remaining hopeful of bringing the country's best riders to Northern Tasmania in 2022.
In the meantime, Wynyard will get its shot on the national stage when it hosts the national cup on September 11, with the state titles to follow on September 12 and 13.
"That's the wish list plan for missing out on last year," Steward said of hosting the 2022 nationals.
"By then there'll be even more beautifications and enhancements to the track.
"I'm really proud of the way the club's come along in the last six months, it's sped along quite quickly with improvements and additional members - a lot of young kids have joined up and it's very family-orientated."
Riders from across Tasmania got the chance to test out the new surface last weekend when Launceston hosted the second round of the state series.
