Kirk (1-24) claimed the key wicket of Martin, bringing Simon Chappell to the crease for a superb 66 - keeping his side in the hunt.
But White claimed the wickets of Woods (39) and eventually Chappell to dispel all hope of an ACL win.
Hadspen brought Perth's seven-game winning streak to an abrupt end, defeating the Demons by 10 wickets.
Everything the Chieftains' bowlers touched turned to gold, dismissing their opponents for just 42 as Deepak Singh and Kyle Strochnetter both took three wickets - the latter finishing with figures of 3-7 off seven overs.

Legana waltzed to their third win of the season thanks to quality performances from Mike Dunn and Dylan Sharman against Evandale.
Dismissing the Panthers for 114, Legana's Dunn took 5-17 and was well supported by Nathan Van Noord (2-25) and Ben Walker (2-34) while Rickie Wells top scored with 38 off 27 balls.
Amazingly, Sharman scored an unbeaten 92 in chase as the batters around him used the opportunity to spend time at the crease, getting the runs two down to win by eight wickets.
Bracknell claimed their third win of the season, maintaining their strong record over George Town with a 95-run win.
Batting first, Matthew Hayward's 79 and Brad Fryett's 57 put the Stags in a strong position, making 4-196 from their 40 overs as Robbie Crane took 2-35.
Crane proved to be the highest scorer with the bat, making 30 as Jaiden Gibbs chipped in with an unbeaten 21, but it wasn't enough - bowled out for 101.
