Ertler said she wanted the performance to be "women reclaiming the male dominated music domain".
"For me, in the music industry for some reason, it's male dominated and I thought this would be a good chance to get a bunch of women to make a bit of noise in that world," she said.
The musicians will be surrounded by smoke, lights, shiny silver and gold colours, and will be playing all original music.
Ertler said five local Hazara women designed the goddess head pieces for the costumes.
The shows, to be held at The Launceston Workers Club on March 13, symbolise women taking over what once was a men's-only space according to Ertler.
"Conceptually ... I like idea that we are taking it over [for the performances]," she said.
