Returning from the bye this weekend, the Eagles travel to Riverside in what will be the Blues' last chance to stake a claim for finals before hosting another finals aspirant - South Launceston - in the last round.
Coach James Storay will have Ben Spinks back for both weeks while Will Dakin (school cricket) and Spencer Hayes (Raiders) will be available for days one and two respectively.
Jono Jones (ankle) is likely to miss the rest of the season.
Storay was eager to pit his improving side against two teams desperate to nab the last available finals spot.
"I'm hoping we can grit our teeth, dig in and take some momentum from the next few weeks into next season," he said.
"It'll be good to see how our guys can approach it with other sides having finals in mind and these next few weeks might have a few more twists and turns than what other weeks might have.
"It'll be a good chance for our guys to experience that sort of stuff and the pressure's all on them to make sure they get maximum points and we'll be looking to restrict them."
Riverside is still working through selection as it plots a return to finals for the first time since 2016-17.
The Blues have lost each of their two-day games so far this season but could still have enough chips to play with from the one-dayers should they overcome the Eagles.
"We just need to be making sure that the guys selected play their role and play our best game of cricket," coach Lyndon Stubbs said.
"If we can scrape enough points to secure a finals spot that'd be ideal and then anything can happen from there.
"But at the moment though we haven't had the results we've wanted in the last couple of games in terms of preparing for finals."
Perennial grand finalists WESTBURY and South Launceston will meet for the first time since round one at the NTCA No.2.
The Shamrocks may have all but locked in second spot, but Dan Murfet's men have plenty to prove after another batting collapse nearly cost them a win against Riverside.
"I think we just stay true to what we do best with our bowling - build pressure and bowl consistent good balls and take our chances," Murfet said.
"I think it's a really good opportunity for our batting group to finally put in a really good performance as well, I know there's some guys in the top six really eager to put their hands up and make a big score."
Westbury will welcome Nathan Parkin back to the top of the order with Raiders pair Jono Chapman and Ollie Wood set to return in week two.
Meanwhile, South Launceston is likely to have several changes of its own with Scotch Oakburn young guns Charlie Skipper and Angus Foster available this week and St Pats bowler James Leake the next.
Sean Harris' Knights could also welcome James Beattie into the fold for the first time this season next weekend should the Raiders quick get through Saturday unscathed.
"He's likely to make himself available so that's good news for us," Harris said.
"He's still stayed fairly connected with our playing group so if he's fit he'll play."
Harris was happy with how his side performed in last weekend's loss to minor premiers Launceston, who have the bye.
"Our efforts were sustained - in the end we weren't quite good enough, but we feel like over the next few weeks if we play good enough cricket we might be able to sneak into finals," he said.
"It's pretty tight, but we have control over our destiny in a manner of speaking.
"If we win our last two games it looks as though - unless Riverside outright Mowbray - [the outcome] is in our hands."
