The Raiders (10-223) had an inconsistent first day on the batting side of things, but managed to post a decent total thanks to Mowbray's Spencer Hayes (42 runs), Hurricane Tim David (55) and captain Oliver Wood (44).
Patchy skies saw many a Raider nicked-off resulting in a leisurely five-catch day for Kingborough keeper Matthew Coad.

Coach Tim Coyle said he would have liked to see his side notch 30 or 40 more runs for a more comfortable two-day total.
"This week, we've got to start well with the ball, field some pressure, take a couple of early wickets and put a bit of pressure on their order - that'd be the focus," he said.
"It's still a winnable game."

Thanks to a staunch opening bowling performance from Jono Chapman (2-23), the Knights tallied 43 runs in their first 24 overs last week.
"[To get] a couple of wickets was good - we're going to have to be at our best this week," Coyle said.
"But it's our last day of cricket for the year so let's make sure it's a really good one. We've bowled well all year and hopefully we can do it again on Saturday and get a win."
Raiders squad:
