Moving to the Scorpions on a two-year deal, the 21-year-old has started the WNCL season off strong, scoring two half-centuries in four matches.

Starting the season against her home state Tasmania, Webb scored 20 off 35 balls in a promising debut.

But it was what she did in the next two games that opened the eyes of many, including Patterson.
Webb batted alongside Patterson in a 116-run partnership against ACT before backing it up with an unbeaten 51 to steer the Scorpions to victory over Queensland in a rain-affected clash.
The reigning Melbourne Renegade of the year followed it up with a 21 against Victoria on Tuesday and is hoping to continue to translate her 20-over form to the longer format.
"In 20-over cricket the last couple of years I've been really clear on what my role is, and it'll be really cool to try and translate that into my 50-over game," Webb told cricket.com.au after her SA debut.
"(Playing for Australia) is everyone's goal coming through the state cricket ranks... I have a lot of work and a lot of good performances before I'm at that level but that's definitely the long-term goal, to see how far I can take my cricket."
