Senior Tasmanian Government figures at odds with voluntary assisted dying legislation

CONFIDENT: Mersey independent MLC Mike Gaffney said an expert panel's review of voluntary assisted dying legislation should give parliamentarians confidence the bill should proceed.

Hospitals and aged care facilities that do not want to provide voluntary assisted dying need to be provided with exemptions by law should a bill to legalise the process be passed through Parliament.
