
New Zealand is no longer classified as a 'high risk' destination by the Tasmanian Government, under direction from public health director Dr Mark Veitch.
From 6pm on Monday February 22, Auckland, Taranaki and Waikato have been re-classified as low risk destinations.

Anyone visiting Tasmania from these regions will not be required to quarantine upon arrival.
However, travellers from the Auckland region must adhere to conditions of travel to Australia, which includes returning a negative Coronavirus test within 72 of flying into the country.
Anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms should contact the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738 to book a coronavirus test.
