Alex Pamela Mayes, 21, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.19 when tested by police on the night of October 17 last year.
She pleaded guilty to a count of drive a motor vehicle while exceeding the prescribed alcohol limit of 0.05 and to a count of failing to have proper control of a vehicle.

Police prosecutor Katrina Woodgate said Mayes crashed into the parked car in Newlands Avenue shortly after leaving the party.
"When she was interviewed by police she said it was her intention to drive to her boyfriend's house," she said.
Defence counsel Grant Tucker said Mayes was horrified by her actions saying her judgement was clouded by alcohol.
He said Mayes had been forced to relocate her home because of the impending loss of licence and had costs to repair her car and the parked car.
"She will be reminded every day of the consequences and it has been a huge wakeup call," he said.
"She will need to fit an interlock device on her car as a result in what was a very forgettable night for Ms Mayes."
Magistrate Ken Stanton said the reading was astonishingly high.
"It is aggravated by the fact that you planned to drive after the party knowing that you would be drinking alcohol," he said.
"What happened shows that on a three-minute drive bad things can happen."
"It was almost four times the permissible limit and I need to denounce this conduct in the strongest terms and protect the public.
"You have pleaded guilty which is indicative of remorse in a person of otherwise good character.
"I am not sentencing you for driving under the influence which is a risk inherent after consuming alcohol to that level."
Mr Stanton fined Mayes $1500 and disqualified her from driving for 18 months.
