Batting first, the Greater Northern Raiders star steered her side to 4-98 with a 16 from Maxine Woods boosting the Blues' total as Launceston bowler Mary Broadhurst starred with 3-9 off her four.
Lions openers Victoria Geale (16) and Ianthe Boden (19) set a strong platform for their side, putting on 37 for the first wicket, but run outs and the Riverside bowlers got the best of Launceston after their dismissals.
Blues wicket-keeper Maxine Woods featured in four run outs and Kate Sheriff two, as bowlers Manix-Geeves (2-3 off two), Tayla Buchanan (2-17 off four) and Sophia Smith (2-18 off four) shared the remainder of the wickets around.
Despite the rear-guard action of Anna Janssen (9* off 21 balls), the Lions were dismissed for 79.
In the round's other scheduled match, Mowbray forfeited against South Launceston.
