The successful applicant will need to lead services and organisational strategy for Ambulance Tasmania, and help to deliver reform and innovation in the distribution of patient care.
Health Minister Sarah Courtney said she wanted to acknowledge the outgoing acting chief executive Matthew Eastham ASM.
She also acknowledged previous chief executive Neil Kirby ASM who was appointed in 2016.

"[Mr Kirby's] ongoing service within the Department of Health is highly valued, and he is continuing to contribute to senior leadership across the Department including with the preparations for the Tasmanian roll out of the COVID-19 vaccine," she said.
Joe Acker will fill the role as acting chief executive in the intervening period.
