Playing in front of a crowd of 1977 loyal fans at Arden Street Oval, midfielder Jasmine Garner said the scoreboard didn't reflect the tightness of the game.
"We were saying at half-time it kind of felt like we were behind," she told Channel Seven.
"St Kilda really challenged us, they play a really good brand of footy and we were able to turn it around and come away with the win."
Impressed with her side's contested football, scoring ability and defensive pressure, Garner, who featured alongside four Tasmanians on Sunday, praised the passionate crowd.
"This is our second game here and able to get two wins from two games, we are rapt that they are able to come out here to Arden St," she said.

"It's where we train, it's our home and we just love playing here."
A quick start saw the Roos head into quarter-time 11 points ahead but the Saints rallied in the second to put the ladder-leaders on notice.
Hobart's Ellie Gavalas, who was an underage national soccer representative, kicked the Roos' first major of the second half and helped her side run away from the Saints, holding them scoreless until the match's end.
She was named as a member of North Melbourne's best for her 17 disposals, three tackles and goal and was described by television commentators as a "sensational find" after being drafted by the Kangaroos at pick 10 in last year's draft.
Launceston duo Mia King and Daria Bannister looked dangerous throughout the contest with King collecting 12 touches and enjoying plenty of time on the ball as Bannister lurked up forward, providing a silky handball as Ashleigh Riddell put the finishing touches on the game.
Going two from two so far this season, the Kangaroos continue to solidify their reputation as premiership contenders, having only conceded 19 points across their two matches this season while piling on 107 to boast a percentage of 563.2.
Due to the AFLW's ever-changing fixtures, the side's next game is yet to be announced.
