A good start to the day for the Greater Northern Raiders was quickly washed away much like the NTCA grounds the night prior.

In their first day of two against Glenorchy in Launceston, openers Brodie Hayes (53 runs off 129) and Sam O'Mahony (33 off 68) got the Raiders off to a solid, if not economical start in the first 20 overs.
But an air-ball from O'Mahony soon after saw him dismissed, followed not long after by Spencer Hayes (3).
Brodie Hayes was able to continue his solid innings with former captain Miles Barnard.
However, just as Barnard began to settle in, a lethal yorker from former Launceston paceman James Bowen had him packing with 32 runs.
Bowen claimed another two wickets on the day whilst allowing 39 runs.
After seeing both Cooper Anthes (4) and Sam Elliston-Buckley (12) also efficiently dismissed by Glenorchy, Hayes' time came as he was nicked in the slips by Ryan Graham-Daft.
ELSEWHERE IN SPORT:
A nifty 30 runs from Will Bennett, as well as 11 each for captain Oliver Wood and James Beattie saw the home team to a total of 198 after 62 overs.
"I think we probably needed to just bat a little longer ... [we had] three guys [score] in their 30s and one getting a 50," Wood said.
"That doesn't look too bad on paper but if you wanted to make big scores, we really need guys to start going on a little bit more."
Umair Butt led Glenorchy in the bowling, finishing with four wickets off 38 runs in 11 overs.
Graham-Daft and Nathan Matthews opened for Glenorchy, tallying 50 runs before play was paused until next Saturday.
The Raiders were able to limit Glenorchy to 97 runs in 23 overs in their last one-day bout, Wood was optimistic his side's bowling attack would lift the side up.
"Obviously it's a little bit different - the wicket's a fair bit flatter than what it was back then," he said.
"The good thing about this format is that we've got all week to think about it and how we're going to go about it."
