Vibestown Productions director Jesse Higgs said they had 15,000 people indicate they were interested in the event on Facebook.
"That's generally a really good indication of who's interested," he said.
"Then we had 8000 people follow on and sign up to the pre-sale link."

There were a limited number of tickets allocated to the pre-sale event on Wednesday night, which went quickly according to Mr Higgs.
"This morning we opened tickets up [for the weekend passes] and I had the gut feeling they were going to go quickly," he said.
"They sold out within a minute, to a minute-and-a-half."
"The demand is huge, it's amazing. We are stoked and excited now."
With the majority of the tickets sold, a small amount were saved for day passes.
The day tickets will go on sale Thursday February 11, at 8am.
Mr Higgs said the team were looking at how they could cater for future demand, and were entertaining realistic thoughts of sideshows.
"We are trying to do the best thing we can for the greater community of Launceston, and bring live music back and bring it back at a quality level," he said.
