Two Northern-based public servants have been stood down from work pending an investigation into alleged sexual abuse. The complaints have been referred to Tasmania Police for assessment. A state government spokesperson said the actions taken were not an indication of wrongdoing. A fifth Northern public servant was stood down from work on December 23 for alleged sexual misconduct. A sixth state service employee, this time from southern Tasmania, was stood down from work on January 6 pending an investigation into alleged sexual misconduct.
