
A Waverley man accused of murdering a man at Reedy Marsh has pleaded not guilty and will stand trial in the Supreme Court.
Robert Harold Gerard, 47, appeared by video link in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Wednesday where he entered the not guilty plea to the murder of Michael Hawkes on January 12.
He also pleaded not guilty to wounding Judith Anne Hawkes during the same incident.

Other charges - including common assault and vehicle stealing from the same day as the alleged murder - have been adjourned without plea.
Mr Gerard was committed to stand trial and will appear in the Supreme Court in Launceston on April 26.
He will also appear at a plea hearing in the Launceston Magistrates Court for unrelated matters on February 19.
