A man is in police custody after a wounding incident in a public reserve in Rocherlea overnight. In a statement, Tasmania Police said the incident occurred following a physical altercation between five men in Cupania Street late on Tuesday night. The victim was awaiting surgery at the Launceston General Hospital early on Wednesday morning after sustaining a wound to the right side of his chest. Police arrested one man and he remained in custody early on Wednesday morning. IN OTHER NEWS: Investigations are continuing.
