As she grew up the dreams persisted but she did not know why until she saw a post on an internet chat room about 21 years ago.
The post was from David Moss, an Australian man who had been having the same dream from the boy's perspective.
After about nine months of chatting online Mrs Moss decided to take a leap of faith and fly out to Australia, from America, to meet the man who had been sharing her dreams since they were both children.
AUSTRALIA DAY 2021 IN NORTHERN TASMANIA:
"Everybody thought I was crazy," she said.
"My family thought I was crazy and thought I wouldn't stay out here but I did."
The pair have been inseparable since taking the chance and meeting 21 years ago. Now Mrs Moss is celebrating her 15th year as an Australian citizen.
She said her family quickly came around and some members even came to Australia for her wedding.
"My dad came out for the wedding to give me away and he's now living in the Philippines," Mrs Moss said.
Mr Moss' family had a slightly different reaction to hers when they first heard he was meeting a women he connected with online.
"I was 29-years-old at the time and never really had any serious relationships until then," he said.
"His mum told me she was about ready to put an ad in the newspaper," Mrs Moss added.
The couple are both thrilled to have been able to find each other and have no regrets about taking the chance all those years ago.
