After Tasmania Police recovered a substantial amount of jewellery, a Nikon camera and small electrical items, people flocked to reclaim their lost possessions.
The items were found in the car of a 32-year-old Ravenswood woman who later was charged with unlawful possession of property and minor drug offences.
Police said they had "been contacted and approached by 10 persons who have viewed and identified their jewellery to date".
They were expecting around three more contacts in the next few days and said they understood that a "majority" of the jewellery had been returned.
