A North-West woman was airlifted out of the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park on Saturday evening.

Earlier in the day, Tasmania Police were advised of a personal locator beacon activation by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched, and the 61-year-old was found in the Great Ravine area.
IN OTHER NEWS:
She had been injured while kayaking on the Franklin River with a group, but her injuries were not life-threatening.
She was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital.
