The federal government advised that due to flight rescheduling arrangements, the flight will now instead land in Darwin.
Acting Premier Jeremy Rockliff said the state government will continue to work with the federal government on future repatriation flights.
"Tasmania continues to stand ready to help vulnerable Australians return home from overseas to reunite with their families and loved ones," he said.

"We will provide an update when details of any future flights are known."
