Police and paramedics responded to a Triple Zero call from a resident reporting a death at a property.
Despite CPR by a witness and attending officers, the 49-year-old woman died at the scene.

With circumstances unclear as to how the woman died, an investigation is currently underway in the surrounding area.
Detective Inspector Kim Steven said police are still piecing together the events leading to the death.
"Due to the circumstances of the death, an investigation commenced under the direction of Launceston CIB," he said.
"We've had our forensic officers assisted by our forensic science service people from Hobart, working through the night and are up there today, the house is still a crime scene as we investigate."
With investigations still underway, Detective Inspector Steven said the death is currently being treated as suspicious.
"We're unsure what has led up to this death, and what the cause of death is at the moment, we certainly anticipate that the post-mortem, which is currently being conducted, will give us some indications as to what actually occurred," he said.
"Every death is suspicious until proven otherwise. We're in that stage of the investigation at the moment, so I anticipate we'll know more as the day progresses."
The premises is situated on the east side of Wellington Street, between Balfour and Frankland Streets.
"We are particularly interested in anyone contacting us who may have seen people on foot in that area at about the time of the 000 call, 8.40pm, or have dashcam footage of the street, including surrounding streets, in that area in the three hours up until 9pm," Detective Inspector Steven said.
