EB Games Australia manager for the Brisbane Street branch, Alex Broxton, said the store had been busy all year, with Boxing Day just another busy day.
"It is flat out all day from start to finish," he said.
He said the branch would see hundreds of people over the course of the day, with more people buying in store than online due to receiving Christmas cash.
