The Roses Match, in its second year, pays tribute to beloved Longford member Rose Jackson, while raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Son and Longford club member Matthew Jackson said the day saw nearly $2000 donated to fight blood cancer.
"It all went very well and we raised plenty of money for the Lieukaemia Foundation which was awesome," he said.
Despite their best efforts, second-placed Longford were defeated by 25 shots.

East are two-for-two in Roses Match victories.
"They ended up taking the trophy, but it stays in Longford because Sam [Springer, East club president] the club believed that's where mum's heart will always belong," Jackson said.
"That was nice of them, but it will have East Launceston's name on it again this year.
"We certainly played our hardest, and they were good competition on the green but they were too good for us on the day.
"There is always next year ... it was a really good day anyway."
Jackson said it was great to have the rival clubs come together and work towards a common goal.
"Bowls, at the end of the day, was playing second-fiddle to the money we raised to help fight leukaemia and blood cancer in general," he said.
