A Magistrate expressed disappointment about the relapse into crime of a Mowbray man in sentencing on Thursday.

Brodie Leigh Challis, 26, was jailed for 12 months for a raft of dishonesty matters with a non-parole period of six months.
He pleaded guilty to nine counts of burglary and eight counts of stealing from businesses as well as motor vehicle stealing, 13 counts of theft of mail receptacles, articles or postal messages and driving matters.

Magistrate Sharon Cure said Challis graduated from a drug treatment order but had gone backwards since then.
"These are a serious series of crimes, burglaries and stealing from businesses in a relatively sophisticated way," she said.
"They cause great harm to businesses that are struggling.
"I have to say that I am bitterly disappointed to see somebody like you back before me when you had demonstrated the capacity for rehabilitation."
She encouraged him to apply for parole after six months.
She disqualified him from driving for six months several driving matters.
