An allegedly armed man is said to have rammed a vehicle in a family dispute at Strahan on Sunday night.

Tasmania Police said they have arrested the 51-year-old Strahan man and recovered a weapon.
The man is now in police custody.
Police Senior Sergeant Adam Stanwix said that the people involved were related and it was a family dispute.
"About 9:10 pm Strahan Police responded to reports a vehicle had rammed two parked vehicles on a private property and that the driver was armed with a firearm," Senior Sergeant Stanwix said.

"Shortly after police arrived a 51-year-old Strahan man was arrested, and the firearm recovered without further incident.
"The firearm was earlier discharged, however, no one was injured during the incident.
"Police allege the man crashed his vehicle multiple times into two parked cars causing substantial damage to both before drove his vehicle through the property causing structural damage to a building," Senior Sergeant Stanwix said.
Police estimate damage to be around $200,000.
The man remains in custody whilst further investigations are conducted.
