The exhibition was originally meant to feature Anne Young's work with another artist, but as luck would have it the second artist pulled out. Allowing Young and Anne O'Connor to exhibit together in On the Wall's.
It pits Young's innovative string designs against O'Connor's decorative and bold photos to bring together a cohesive art exhibition.
O'Connor confirmed the exhibition was originally supposed to be Young's work and another artist's before that person pulled out.
O'Connor takes inspiration for all her art from Tasmania and said her style often changes.
"A lot of what I'm doing now...I may not do again," she said.
O'Connor said she enjoyed working with brushed aluminum.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Young said she has dabbled in many different mediums and felt it was important to have something creative to do.
"I just feel so many elderly people are stuck looking at television all day and don't have anything creative to do," she said.
"I think there should be more creativity for everybody because it makes you feel good."
Her knitted pieces go through a dye process, and are glued, stiffened and stuck on to canvas.
"I just like playing around with something I have knitted that has no shape and put it into a shape."
"It tells me what it wants to be."
The exhibit will be at the Windsor Community Precinct until the end of January 2021.
