While there was a substantial margin on the scoreboard, there were plenty of positives for the Greater Northern Raiders from Sunday's loss to Clarence.

First and foremost was a exquisite maiden century in orange to Emma Manix-Geeves, but that was only really scratching the surface at Latrobe Recreation Ground.
In what was the first foray into 50-over cricket for many of coach Darren Simmonds' group, the Raiders fell to a 94-run defeat after being set a total of 332.
Clarence's total was powered by some of its very best, with state veteran Emma Thompson carrying her bat with 151 from 152 balls, with Englishwoman Hollie Armitage making 107 from 109 as Clarence finished with 4-331.
The Raiders' task was made even tougher when former Hobart Hurricanes skipper Sasha Moloney was bowled first ball by Heather Graham.
But the Raiders didn't drop their heads, as Manix-Geeves [who finished unbeaten on 108 from 144 balls batting at number three] had a 78-run stand with skipper Caitlyn Webster [21] and 133 with Meg Radford [54] as they compiled 4-237.
"Even though they got away from us with the bat as we didn't bowl well enough early, I reckon that was our best fielding performance this year,'' Simmonds said.
"The one thing we were conscious off [at the innings break] was that a lot of our girls hadn't played much 50-over cricket, so we took their score [Clarence] out of the equation and all we looked at were these little goals along the way and we thought if we could bat our 50 overs and score around 240 we would be able to take some things out of the game, which we did."
