Fricker, a well known Australian comedian, said the set would be fun because she didn't want to stress anyone out or do anything too heavy after the year people have had.
"Come ready for a good time, good vibes only," she said.
"Hopefully people forget the absolute car crash that has been this year for an hour or so."
Fricker said she was looking forward to coming back to Tasmania.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"I always love coming back. First of all, it's a really beautiful place and second of all, Tasmanians have a really great sense of humour and they don't take things too seriously."
The comedian made her debut in 2011 as a national finalist in the triple j Raw Comedy competition.
She has since appeared at many comedy festivals across the country as well as Falls Festival and Splendour in the Grass.
Fricker has also appeared regularly on television on shows such as Have You been Paying Attention and Spicks and Specks.
You can see Fricker on December 18 at 6pm, as the 8pm show has sold out. It will be held at the Boag's Brewery Bar on William Street.
