A man and a woman both pleaded not guilty when they appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Friday jointly charged with a count of aggravated robbery.

Police allege Nomi Lea Mountney, 42, of Summerhill, and Matthew Richard Law, 36, of Youngtown, robbed a Westbury woman on December 5, 2020. Ms Mountney pleaded not guilty to an associated charge.
Magistrate Simon Brown committed Mr Law and Ms Mountney to appear in the Supreme Court in Launceston on February 1, 2021.

He remanded them in custody to reappear on December 14 at 2.15pm for continuation of a bail application.
