The musical, from Launceston College, is adapted from the 1983 movie of the same name and tells the story of 19-year-old welder Alex who wants nothing more than a position at Shipley Dance Academy.
The show will be the first full scale musical in the theatre this year after pandemic regulations put a stop to the 2020 season.
