Celebrating its 14th year, Music in the Park will be held on Sundays, starting December 13, and feature live music from local performers as well as a jumping castle for children and free train rides.
Music in the Park will hold eight concerts from the day it kicks off, with the first from City of Launceston RSL Band.
President of the band Ian Reeve said they will be presenting Christmas music which will include a number of new arrangements as well as the traditional carols and children's favourites too.

"We enjoy doing [Music in the Park]. We have been doing it for a number of years," he said.
Mayor Albert van Zetten said he thought it was "absolutely fantastic" the event could come back to the park.
"If you love taking advantage of the summer weather, getting outside with friends and family, and live music, then Music in the Park is for you."
Deputy Mayor Danny Gibson said Music in the Park was a great way to see the talent from Northern Tasmania, with a diverse program lined up.
"It's certainly been a challenging year for the arts but the opportunity for local performers to come out and to be showcased through this program is wonderful."
