Australian Border Force at the Melbourne Container Examination Facility found 60 sex doll parts during a search on October 20 - further examination showed 41 of the parts were child-like.

ABF Enforcement Operations South Acting Commander Nicholas Walker said these dolls are a form of child abuse and they will not be tolerated.
"The commercial nature of this importation should be seen as extremely concerning," Acting Commander Walker said.
"These dolls are harmful and they have no place in the Australian community."
Child-like sex dolls are considered child abuse material under the Customs Act of 1901.
The maximum penalty for charges relating to the importation of child abuse material is up to 10 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $550,000.
