The Lions unveiled their A-grade 'teams of the decade', from the club's NTCA beginnings in 1886 all the way through to present day, at a Country Club Tasmania function late last month.
A women's team (2010-2020) and second and third grade teams spanning multiple decades were also announced at the event, which attracted nearly 100 people.

Cricket historian Rick Smith's advice was called upon as teams from the 1960s onwards were picked by small groups of players who played in those eras, while more recent teams were decided by a larger committee.
Organisning committee member Jade Selby, who was one of a small number of players to win selection in three teams, said the event had been highly successful.
"It was a really good night and it was really important to have the second and third grade guys there too and they really enjoyed the night as well," Selby said.
"We got a keepsake for the guys that made the A-grade teams, we did a cricket card series.
"Rowan Smith came up with the idea, you get a cricket card picture of you on the front with the team you made in the series, your stats for the decade and a little comment on the back.
"It's better than a trophy all the time - it was just an 80-card series with all the teams from the '60s through to the 2010s.
"Now we're going to do the '50s down to the 1890s and get the seconds and thirds and ladies on there as well so there'll be a second series soon."
A different captain was named for each of the 15 teams.
