South Launceston has named club favourite Andrew Nichols for a long-awaited first-grade debut following some impressive form in second and third grade.
A long-time skipper of the Knights' third-grade side, the man affectionately known as 'SOC' replaces Ben Jackson in an otherwise unchanged line-up for a home clash with Ulverstone.
Meanwhile, Mowbray will blood Jonty Nicolson - nephew of club legend Jerome Illingworth and brother of former women's Eagle Georgie - in its senior side.
Fresh from scores of 44 and 35 in the twos, Nicolson and Nicky Smith come in for Jono Jones (Greater Northern Raiders) and Shaun Avent.

Aaron Hughes will make his third-straight A-grade appearance as the Eagles chase a better bowling performance at Burnie.
"We batted quite well [against Latrobe], we might have left 15 or 20 runs out there but all in all it was a score we could defend but we bowled [poorly]," Mowbray coach James Storay said.
"We're just looking for consistency with our bowling - we didn't bowl enough balls in the right areas and we got punished."
RIVERSIDE remains in second spot despite a tie with Devonport last round.
Tom Garwood's Blues have a game in hand on the third-place Orions and are intent on strengthening their hold on a home final heading into a home clash with Latrobe.
"We've been working on some stuff we didn't execute last week so the boys are ready to go," Garwood said.
"We're still in second spot and really looking at securing that spot this weekend and putting a good performance in to finish off this competition and take us into [the two-dayers]."
James Simpson returns from Raiders to help cover the loss of reliable veteran Patty Mackrell (unavailable).
"Patty's been really good - he plays an experienced role and he's a good batsman so he'll be missed batting at three," Garwood said.
"But it does open the door for another person to take an opportunity."

WESTBURY has plenty to play for in a trip to Sheffield.
The Shamrocks have a one-point buffer on fellow finals aspirants Wynyard and South Launceston, but are coming into form at the right time of the year.
"We had a pretty good win last week so we'll take a bit of confidence out of that," skipper Dan Murfet said.
"We finally put together a full-game performance for the first time this year so I think it showed the boys what we're capable of doing."
The Shamrocks will be without experienced pair Nick Spencer and Chathura Athukorala, with Liam Ryan and Hamish Sytsma looking to make the most of a call-up.
"Those guys are really hanging out for some opportunities so hopefully they can make the most of it," Murfet said.
"Liam's been a little bit different to most - he pretty much played every first-grade game last year and through an interrupted pre-season he's taken a little longer to get back to his best, but when he's at his best he's bowling lots of dot balls and building lots of pressure.
"Hamish is another guy who's just starting his first-grade journey, he's a pretty attacking style batter and he's the sort of guy who if he gets some runs on the board he'll take a lot of confidence out of it."
Unbeaten LAUNCESTON is assured its first one-day finals appearance since it last won the tournament in 2010-11.
One more win would put top spot beyond all doubt and captain Alistair Taylor is hoping to secure it this weekend against Wynyard.
Saturday's fixtures will almost certainly be affected by rain, but the Lions won't be factoring precipitation into their game plans any earlier than necessary.
"I'm a bit of a one for not caring about the rain - if you think there's going to be rain around you can sometimes go into a negative mindset," Taylor said.
"You plan to play the full 100 overs and go from there - it's the same last week, we started playing 100 overs and you adjust as you go.
"You don't plan for anything less than 100, I don't see the point of it."
The Lions have made just one change, with Thomas Beaumont replacing Nick Haydon.
All games start at 10.30am.
