Symmons Plains, which did not receive its annual visit from the category in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has been locked in for an early April event next year.
The SuperSprint format, over two days instead of the traditional three, will be held on April 10 and 11.
It will be the third round of the series, following a season opening event at Bathurst and the Formula 1 Grand Prix round.
The event will allow the state to say its goodbyes to Holden, as while the brand has been retired and there is no factory support, ZB Commodores will be on the grid.
Holden is the most successful manufacturer at the circuit, with 26 wins, with Ford collecting 16.
The series will also be without a defending champion, with Scott McLaughlin departing the series with for the IndyCar series.
How many fans will be able to attend though is still up in the air, with Supercars chief executive Sean Seamer saying: "We are still working with all government partners on fan limits for each event, but we are confident of strong crowd numbers across Australia and New Zealand, in line with the current loosening of COVID-19 restrictions".
The three-day attendance in 2019 was 54,926, with crowd numbers at their peak pushing above 60,000.
Supercars said it would continue work on 2021 event formats with "full details to be released over coming weeks".
