A man has been taken to hospital after a structure fire at Rocherlea overnight The fire, in an industrial area at 296 George Town Road, was first reported about 9pm Tuesday. On arrival, Tasmania Fire Service and police found a large shed alight. TFS crews were able to gain control of the fire, extinguishing the blaze. A man who lived in the area was taken to Launceston General Hospital for assessment, due to smoke inhalation. George Town Road remained closed for a number of hours.
