On Friday an anonymous donor gave $10,000 to the organisation's business development general manager Stuart Nettlefold and the team's Movember campaign.
"Very important - you must hang up your budgie smugglers for ever as a condition of this donation," the donor said in their accompanying message.
"As men's health and everybody's health is very important. Some things should stay anonymous."
Mr Nettlefold thanked the donor for their generous support of the cause, but said he had no clue who the donor was.
"The contribution came out of the blue - I was shocked by the huge dollar amount," he said.
"At first, I thought I must have read the number incorrectly.
"Movember is a fantastic initiative to support men's health. Clearly someone in the Li-Ve Tasmania community thinks so, too - to the tune of ten grand! I just can't believe it."
In other news:
The anonymous donation took the organisation's Movember fundraising tally to more than $13,500.
Mr Nettlefold said there was still time to support their fundraiser.
"I got involved because growing a mo is a great conversation starter and a way to spark important conversations about men's health.
"We don't need or expect another $10k gift - every donation, big or small, makes a difference for men's health," he said.
"The $10,000 donation will go a long way to supporting life-changing mental health projects, history-making scientific breakthroughs and lifesaving cancer tests and treatments."
In addition to Mr Nettlefold, the organisation's team includes team captain Paul Dolzan, Darren Mathewson, Chris Oddie, Jaime Foskett, Sean Collicutt, Reuben Pearce, Anthony Ozols, Tim Booker, James Taubman and Anthony Osborn.
