Embers front man Michael Attard said the group were "pumped" to be back on stage in front of a crowd.
"We can't wait. We had a rehearsal last night and everyone is really excited to be back on stage, playing together as a band, and to share it with people."
The last time the band played together in front of people was for Party in the Paddock back in February earlier this year.

Attard said the group were happy to be a part of Junction again as the festival brings people together and supports local bands and talent.
"It gives our community and it gives artists a real focus point and a bit of a launch pad. It also gets people in the community to experience really different things," he said.
"I think these types of events offer a lot of different things to a lot of people."
The band member said the festival is very unique and has gone from strength to strength over the years.
Attard said before a show, the band focus on rehearsals and then on the day it's more about making sure the gear is in working order. Though, he said he usually has one thought running through his mind though.
"I just need to get the lyrics of the first song right and then we can go from there," he said.
Attard gave a shout out to the organisers of the festival who have made it happen, especially in the COVID-19 circumstances where many festivals and events have cancelled.
The festival has strict COVID-19 protocols in place including patrons needing to register their name and phone number at the gate and a list of commandments to abide by.
The Embers are not the only ones to appear on the main stage in Princes Square on Friday night with Brandon Meyer, CELESTE, DENNI, Lazer Baby and The Lawless Quartet joining them.
MUSTER, Masked Family Portraits and Stompin will also appear in the square along with the We Have Wings installation and COVID Busters - a performance to enforce safety in a fun way.
Hometown will run from November 27-29 and has sold out for every session.
