Love Opera delves into the story of Brisbane's Lisa Gasteen National Opera Program while it prepares for a production of Carmen.
The program was established by Australian soprano Lisa Gasteen whose voice has taken her from The Met to Covent Garden and across Europe.
In other news:
Director Liselle Mei said she did not know much about opera when she started making the film but was determined to share the story.
"Lisa Gasteen's story needed to be told. She is a legend in the world of opera and lost everything after her accident," she said.
"She is a remarkable woman and I have so much respect with how she has channeled her energy and invaluable international connections into helping young singers."
