The Deloraine District Pony Club will host a show jumping event at the Deloraine Showgrounds on Friday to raise funds for Fight MND.

Graeme Page, whose daughter has MND, said the fundraiser was called Challenge 27 and hoped to raise awareness about the life expectancy after a diagnosis.
"The average life expectancy after diagnosis of MND is a mere 27 months," he said
"Fight MND has launched a campaign around this number to raise awareness and funds for the fight while promoting physical activity and fun.
"Cath's Village, now a retired racehorse, who netted $160,000 in winnings with approximately 30% being donated to support drug trials for our daughter Cath Baker and Terry Roles and for all the horse lovers out there will be at the Deloraine Showgrounds on Friday."
Event helper Susie Bower said the Baker and Roles families would be at the event and would love to see the community showing their support.
"The community can show their support for the Fight MND 27 Challenge and local families afflicted by this hideous disease by dropping in to the Deloraine Showgrounds.
"Enjoy refreshments from the Deloraine Lions Club and make a modest donation or you can donate directly through Bendigo Bank."
