Hundreds lined the gardens at Woolmers Estate to catch a glimpse of the rose gardens, to listen to bagpipers and to seek inspiration for their own gardens on Sunday.

The open garden event showed off the estate's rose and formal gardens in bloom, and accompanied it with growers and sellers offering plant, succulents and other items for sale.
The event aimed to fill the gap left by the estate's annual Festival of Roses, which was cancelled this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
In other news:
Woolmers' event committee chairperson Helen Fletcher said they had sold more than 500 tickets in pre-sales and were selling tickets on the door on Sunday as well.
She said the attendance levels instilled confidence for the return of the festival in 2021.
"We are really, really thrilled that people have made the time, because it's not the best day [weather wise]," she said.
"We felt this year has been hard for a lot of people on a lot of levels and to have something calming and peaceful and that feeds the senses, we just thought it was important to do something.
"We are looking forward to having our normal event and it's been lovely because we've had the normal stallholders that would have been here today have been ringing in saying 'what about next year?' and we're sort of saying look, we've got to wait and find out what we're allowed to do and what level we're allowed to do but we'll definitely be back next year."
On Sunday two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, were held to allow a maximum of 1000 people to attend as they walked through the gardens and listened to the Tasmania Police Pipe Band playing.
Ms Fletcher said a rose grower had sold out by 11.30am, after the garden's 10am open, and other stallholders were also doing a roaring trade.
She said house tours had also restarted and would be held each weekend.
"Firstly, people need to be reminded that we're here. They also need to know that they can come up, as we're open from Thursday to Sundays at the moment, from 10am - 2pm," she said.
"It's good for people to remember that yes they can, if they just need to get out and have some fresh air and whatever they can do that."
