The NTNA 12-and-under team had an awesome day in the Southern Tasmanian Netball Association event, amassing six wins from as many games and taking out the grand final.
Coached by Kate and Matilda Lenthall, the team consisted of Olivia Bender, Heidi Curtis, Amelie Djatschenko, Georgie Hawkins, Gemma Hodgetts, Makayla McMullan, Jenna Otley, Georgie Purse, Piper Turner and Emelia Wells.
The 15-and-under white team also had a successful trip south.
The association posted on Facebook: "Well done girls on winning your grand final - a terrific effort when late injuries meant that some 14U NTNA rep girls had to play for the team."
The team was Bianca Anderson, Lily Case, Ashlee Cherry, Lily Humphreys, Eva Hunter, Ava Jones, Lily McGee, Asha Pohan, Alice Power, Erin Quillerat, Ella Robinson and Ella Walker.
It was coached by Kristy Harris and Trescia Grice and the team manager was Tamara Quillerat.
The NTNA13U team also played some fantastic netball to finish on top of the ladder after the round robin games and were unlucky to lose the grand final by one goal.
The team of Abbey Berlese, Sophie Brewer, Samantha Davis, Grace Foley, Isabella Gibbins, Erin Gleeson, Mia Green, Molly Green, Paige O'Neill and Mollie Poulton was coached by Anita Parish while Nicki Gleeson was team manager.
In their first year competing in junior carnivals, the 11-and-under team also made the finals where they were defeated by their STNA rivals.
The team was coached by Ann Pearce, managed by Hayley Steel and included Ruby Jones, Grace King, Hannah Long, Lily Matthews, Amber McMullan, Milla Reid, Ruby Steel, Amaya Summers, Grace Turner and Erin Wilson.
Pearce was also among the umpires for the day along with Maddy Brown, Lauren Brown and Ava Jones.
The carnival followed the completion of the NTNA season in Launceston.
A campaign heavily impacted by the coronavirus pandemic wrapped up earlier this month with many players featuring in multiple grand finals.
NTNA chairman Alison Filgate said the association was indebted to numerous volunteers for helping to deliver a successful and safe season.
"We are so lucky that we have managed to have a roster and we expressly thank our dedicated staff who have put in many extra hours to ensure this roster even commenced and continued smoothly throughout this season," she said.
